Counting Quarters...

So yesterday, at work, I was going through all my currency and organizing it in order of dates (yes, I really did that and, yes, I really was that bored...) and I came across two quarters in my drawer from 1967.  I'm going to keep an eye out and see if I can find another one older than that...

I used to organize my change for fun. Haven't had the time recently. For Quarters, 1932-64 have silver in them. Watch out though, coin collecting is addicting!

I'm not collecting... I was just extremely bored at work (as a bank teller all there is for fun is to look at money). :)

"Yet", huh? lol. Don't think so Em... But I had no idea you were a coin collector. So much is explained now. hehe ;)

Wow.....all I have to say is wow..., to imagine what other great things you could actually be accomplishing with your time. In honor of you, I think I'll do something as equally valuable like.....go outside and watch the grass grow! Oh yeah, gee....I don't have the time!!!!

Don't let people get you down Kate! They just don't know what 'fun' is when you're a bank teller and extremely bored. I used to do that at work too! Money is an interesting thing to play with, there are so many ways you could organize it! Which way the bill faces in your drawer, if the serial numbers are in numerical order, how old is the oldest coin? etc etc etc. I'm sure you probably don't do that at home...or watch grass grow!!

This blog made me smile =) Thanks
